A bunch of caterpillarish bugs swarming on some little branch, looked weird, so I snapped a couple shots, although, I don't know much about caterpillarish bugs, so this might be totally normal for them
Neat photos! I wonder if they eat the leaves? In the Spring there is something in the oak trees around here that I hear chewing away making a loud buzzing noise.
It's very possible, from what little I read, every different type of caterpillar eats only one specific type of plant, or leaf, like Monarch caterpillars eat leaves of the Milkweed plant. Thanks for stopping by Callie.
The branch probably fell off one of the oak trees. I think those sting, too, so don't be touching any of them.
ReplyDeleteGreat icky photos, ha!
